Muʿādhah said:
“I asked ʿĀ’ishah, ‘Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ fast three days of every month?’ She replied, ‘Yes.’
I then asked, ‘On which days of the month did he fast?’ She answered, ‘He was not particular about which days they were.’”
