ʿAbd Allah reported:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to fast three days at the start of every month, and he would rarely refrain from fasting on Friday.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ:
(كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ َ يَصُومُ مِنْ غُرَّةِ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَامٍ وَقَلَّمَا كَانَ يُفْطِرُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ)
