246 – (Ṣaḥīḥ)
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī Laylā said:

“No one ever told me that he had seen the Prophet ﷺ perform the Duḥā prayer except Umm Hānī (may Allah Most High be pleased with her). She related:

‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered her house on the day Mecca was conquered, bathed, and then prayed eight rakʿahs (units of prayer). I have never seen him perform any prayer lighter than those, yet he completed every bowing and prostration.’”
