237 – (Sound)
Hafsah, the Prophet’s ﷺ wife, reported:
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform his voluntary prayer seated. He would recite a surah, chanting it with measured cadence, until the recitation became longer than the longest of them.” ⦗152⦘
