234 – Authentic

ʿAbd Allah reported:
“I prayed one night with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he kept standing so long that I was about to do something wrong.” Someone asked him, “What were you about to do?” He replied, “I thought of sitting down and leaving the Prophet ﷺ to continue on his own.”
