226 – (Saḥīḥ)
ʿĀʾishah reported:
"If the Prophet ﷺ did not pray during the night because sleep prevented him or his eyes were overcome, he would offer twelve rakʿahs (units of prayer) during the day." ⦗147⦘

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ:
(أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ َ كَانَ إِذَا لَمْ يُصَلِّ بِاللَّيْلِ مَنَعَهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ النَّوْمُ أَوْ غَلَبَتْهُ عَيْنَاهُ صَلَّى مِنَ النَّهَارِ ثِنْتَيْ عشرة ركعة)
