Mukhtaṣar al-ShamāʾilAl-Tirmidhi

(The tenth one said):
My husband is Mālik—and what shall I tell you about Mālik? Mālik is better than all description. He owns so many camels that their kneeling-places are crowded, yet they are seldom driven out to pasture. Whenever they hear the sound of the mizhar (a lute), they are certain that slaughter awaits them.

(The eleventh one said):
My husband is Abū Zarʿ—and what can I say about Abū Zarʿ? He hung ornaments on my ears, plumped the flesh of my upper arms with good living, and honored me so that I became proud of myself. He found me among folk who owned only a meagre little goat, but he set me among people of neighing horses, groaning camels, threshers of grain, and sifters of flour. ⦗138⦘
