‘Abd Allah ibn Mas‘ud—may Allah be pleased with him—said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared:

“I certainly know the very last of the people of the Fire to emerge. He will be a man who crawls out of it, and it will be said to him, ‘Go on—enter Paradise.’ He will set off to enter, but when he arrives he will find that the people have already taken their places, so he will come back and say, ‘My Lord, the people have taken all the dwellings.’

He will be asked, ‘Do you remember the era in which you lived?’ He will answer, ‘Yes.’

Then he will be told, ‘Wish!’ So he will make his wishes, and it will be said to him, ‘You shall have whatever you have wished for—and ten times the like of the whole world besides.’

At that he will exclaim, ‘Are You mocking me while You are the Sovereign?’” ⦗122⦘
