179 – (ṣaḥīḥ)
Narrated al-Nazzāl ibn Sabrah: ʿAlī, may Allah be pleased with him, brought a jug of water while he was in al-Raḥbah. He scooped up a handful, washed his hands, rinsed his mouth, drew water into his nose, and wiped his face, his forearms, and his head. Then he drank from it while standing and said, “This is the ablution of one who has not nullified his purity; this is exactly how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform it.”
