She then brought us a vessel of milk. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, drank from it while I sat to his right and Khālid to his left. He said to me, “The next drink is yours; if you wish, you may give Khālid preference.” I replied, “I would never let anyone have priority over what remains from your drink.”

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, then said, “When Allah grants someone food, let him say, ‘O Allah, bless it for us and provide us with something better than it.’ And when He grants someone milk to drink, let him say, ‘O Allah, bless it for us and increase it for us.’”

He also said, “Nothing serves in place of both food and drink except milk.”
