I once cooked a pot of meat for the Prophet ﷺ. The foreleg was his favorite cut, so I handed him a foreleg. He then said, “Pass me the foreleg,” and I did so. He asked again, “Hand me the foreleg,” and I handed it to him. He repeated, “Hand me the foreleg.” I said, “Messenger of Allah, how many forelegs does a sheep have?” He replied, “By Him in whose hand my soul rests, had you kept silent you would have gone on handing me forelegs every time I asked.”
