Narrated by the son of Kaʿb ibn Mālik, from his father:
“The Prophet ﷺ used to lick his fingers three times.”

Abu ʿĪsā said: A narrator other than Muḥammad ibn Bashshār related this ḥadīth with the wording, “He would lick his three fingers.”
