Al-Fadl ibn al-‘Abbas reported:
“I visited the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, during the illness in which he passed away, and a yellow bandage was wrapped around his head. I greeted him with peace and he said, ‘O Fadl.’ I replied, ‘At your service, O Messenger of Allah.’ He then said, ‘Tighten this bandage around my head.’ I did so, after which he sat down, placed his palm on my shoulder, then rose and entered the mosque.
