43 - Then Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon him, will be a just judge and an equitable leader among my community. He will break the cross, slaughter swine, abolish the jizyah (poll tax), and discontinue the collection of alms, so that none will be collected on sheep or camels. Enmity and mutual hatred will disappear, and every venomous creature will be stripped of its venom, so that a little boy will put his hand into a snake without being harmed,

44 - and a little girl will drive a lion away without being harmed by it. A wolf among sheep will be like their sheepdog.

45 - The earth will be filled with peace as a vessel is filled with water. People will be united in faith, and none but Allah will be worshipped. War will cease, and Quraysh will be stripped of its rule. The earth will be like a silver platter, bringing forth its vegetation as it did in Adam’s time. A group of people will gather around a single bunch of grapes and eat their fill, and a group will gather around a single pomegranate and eat their fill. An ox will cost such-and-such a sum of money, while a horse will cost only a few dirhams.”

46 - They asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what will make horses so cheap?” He replied, “They will never again be ridden into battle.”

47 - He was asked, “Then what will make oxen so expensive?” He replied, “The whole earth will be cultivated.

48 - Before the Dajjāl emerges, there will be three harsh years during which people will suffer severe hunger. In the first year, Allah will command the sky to withhold a third of its rain, and He will command the earth, and it will withhold a third of its vegetation.
