- One of the trials he will bring is that he will have with him a paradise and a fire. His fire will be a paradise, and his paradise a fire.
- Whoever is subjected to the trial of his fire should seek Allah’s help and recite the opening verses of al-Kahf (The Cave).
- It will then become cool and harmless to him, just as the fire was for Abraham.
- One of the trials he will bring is that he will say to a Bedouin, “Tell me, if I bring your father and mother back to life for you, will you testify that I am your Lord?” He will say, “Yes.” Two devils will then appear to him in the likeness of his father and mother, saying, “My son, follow him, for he is your Lord.”
- One of the trials he will bring is that he will be given power over a single person, whom he will kill
- and cut with a saw until he is left in two halves. Then he will say, “Look at this servant of mine! I shall bring him back to life now, and then he will claim that he has a lord other than me.” Allah will bring him back to life, and the wicked one will ask him, “Who is your Lord?” He will reply, “My Lord is Allah, and you are Allah’s enemy. You are the Dajjāl! By Allah, I have never had clearer insight into your true nature than I have today.”
- One of the trials he will bring is that he will command the sky to rain, and it will rain, and command the earth to bring forth vegetation.
- One of the trials he will bring is that he will pass by a community who will reject him, and all their grazing livestock will perish.
- One of the trials he will bring is that he will pass by a community who will believe him. He will command the sky to rain, and it will rain, and the earth to bring forth vegetation, and it will do so. Their livestock will return that very evening fatter and larger than ever, with fuller flanks and udders yielding more milk than ever before.
