just as it was filled with oppression and injustice.”] [“He will reign for seven years.”]

– The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Allah has protected two groups of my community from the Fire: a group that campaigns in India, and a group that will be with Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon him.”

– He also said: “Whoever among you meets him, let him convey my greetings of peace to him.”

34 – [Just as their imam has stepped forward to lead them in the dawn prayer, Jesus son of Mary will descend upon them [from heaven] at dawn] [beside the white minaret east of Damascus, wearing two dyed garments, with his hands resting on the wings of two angels. When he lowers his head, it drips; when he raises it, beads like pearls fall from it. No unbeliever who catches the scent of his breath will remain alive, and his breath will reach as far as his gaze.]

35 – [“There is no prophet between me and him (meaning Jesus), and he will descend. When you see him, recognize him: a man of medium height, with a fair, ruddy complexion, wearing two lightly dyed garments. His head will seem to drip even though no moisture has touched it. He will fight people for Islam, break the cross, kill swine, and abolish the jizyah. Allah will cause all religions except Islam to perish in his time.”
