and who removes hardship.
The Exalted says:
“If Allah should touch you with adversity, none can remove it but Him; and if He intends good for you, none can withhold His bounty.” [Yūnus 10:107]
He also says:
“Whatever mercy Allah opens up for people, no one can withhold it; and whatever He withholds, no one can release after Him.” [Fāṭir 35:2]
He further says:
“Say, ‘Tell me: if Allah’s punishment were to come upon you, or the Hour were to arrive—would you call upon any other than Allah, if you are truthful?’ No indeed; it is Him alone you call upon, and He removes what you appeal to Him about, if He wills, and you forget whatever you used to associate with Him.” [al-Anʿām 6:40–41]
And He says:
“Say, ‘Invoke those you claim besides Him; they have no power to remove affliction from you or to shift it.’ Those they invoke themselves seek a means of nearness to their Lord—wondering which of them is nearest—hoping for His mercy and fearing His punishment. Indeed, the punishment of your Lord is something to beware.” [al-Isrāʾ 17:56–57]
Thus it is plain that those who are called upon—angels, prophets, or anyone else—possess no power whatsoever either to lift hardship from people or to divert it elsewhere.
