And He says:

“Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and be good to parents.”

“Indeed, Allah does not love those who are arrogant and boastful—those who are miserly and urge others to be miserly.”

Allah Most High says:

“Nothing prevents their contributions from being accepted except that they disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger, come to prayer only reluctantly, and spend only unwillingly.”

“But when He gave them of His bounty, they became miserly with it and turned away in aversion. So He caused hypocrisy to take root in their hearts until the Day they meet Him.”
