those who do good go to waste. And the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believe and are mindful of Allah.”
Surah Yūsuf, 56–57

And He said:
“So Allah gave them the reward of this world and the excellent reward of the Hereafter.”

And He said:
“As for those who emigrated for Allah’s sake after being wronged, We will surely grant them a good home in this world; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they knew—those who are patient and put their trust in their Lord.”

And He said of Abraham, peace and blessings be upon him:
“We gave him his reward in this world, and in the Hereafter he will surely be among the righteous.”

As for His mention of punishment in this world and the Hereafter, an example occurs in:
“By those who extract with violence, and those who draw out with ease.”
Surah al-Nāziʿāt, 201

Then He said:
“On the Day the first blast shakes all things, followed by the second.”
Surah al-Nāziʿāt

Thus He mentioned the Resurrection in general terms.

Then He said:
“Has the story of Moses reached you? When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwā: ‘Go to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed.’”
