But if you cannot, there is much good in patiently enduring what you dislike.”
As for being content with disbelief, wickedness, and disobedience, the position of the leading scholars of the religion is that one must not be content with these things, for Allah is not pleased with them. As He, Most High, says:
“He does not approve of disbelief for His servants.”
Surah al-Zumar, 7.
And He says:
“Allah does not love corruption.”
Surah al-Baqarah, 205.
And He, Most High, says:
“Even if you are pleased with them, Allah is not pleased with the defiantly disobedient people.”
Surah al-Tawbah, 96.
And He, Most High, says:
“His recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide forever. Allah is angry with him, has cursed him, and has prepared for him a tremendous punishment.”
Surah al-Nisā’, 93.
And He says:
“That is because they followed what angered Allah and hated what pleased Him, so He rendered their deeds worthless.”
Surah Muhammad, 28.
