There are many similar passages.
The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever intercedes to prevent one of Allah’s prescribed punishments has opposed Allah in His command.” Narrated by Abū Dāwūd and others.
As for his statement, “One who affirms Allah’s oneness does not witness jealousy and does not exercise choice,” the affirmation of Allah’s oneness with which Allah sent His messengers and revealed His Books means worshipping Allah alone, without partner. This is affirming His oneness in divinity, which necessarily entails affirming His oneness in lordship: worshipping the True One, the Lord of all things. As for merely affirming His oneness in lordship—that is, witnessing the True One’s lordship over all things—this affirmation was present among the polytheists, as Allah Most High says:
“Most of them do not believe in Allah without associating partners with Him.” (Surah Yūsuf, 106)
