and use foul language in his beautiful voice, Allah would hate that.
The banishment of effeminate men is one of the established practices of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Banishment is established from him in two cases: that of a man or woman guilty of fornication who has not consummated a marriage—as he said, “One hundred lashes and banishment for a year”—and that of an effeminate man, who is removed from among the people. This is because sexual immorality occurs only when there is the ability and opportunity to commit it. A person seeks it only when the means of access he sees give him hope of attaining it. Part of the punishment for this is therefore to cut off those means. When a man is banished from his family, helpers and supporters who assist and defend him, he is humbled and subdued. This was thus a recompense and a deterrent from Allah, through flogging. Moreover, because he corrupts the lives of those among whom he lives, he is removed from them. Likewise, an effeminate man corrupts the lives of both men and women, so he is not to live among either group.
It was also the practice of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and of his caliphs to keep men and women apart, and married people apart from unmarried people. Thus, the recommended arrangement for prayer was for the men to be at the front of the mosque and the women at the rear.
