I say: Its chain contains Umar ibn Hārūn al-Balkhī, who was a liar, as Ibn Maīn and others stated. It is documented in Silsilat al-Ahādīth al-Daīfa wa-al-Mawdūa, no. 288, published by al-Maktab al-Islāmī.
111 – (The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: “Four things are conducive to happiness: a righteous wife, a spacious home, a righteous neighbor, and a comfortable mount.” Narrated by Ibn Hibbān in his Sahīh.) p. 94
Authentic. It is from the hadith of Sad ibn Abī Waqqās, and I have documented it in Silsilat al-Ahādīth al-Sahīha, no. 282.
112 – (The hadith stating that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would frequently make these supplications: “O Allah, forgive my sins, make my home spacious, and bless my provision.” He was asked, “How often you make these supplications, O Messenger of Allah!” He replied, “What have they left out?” Narrated by al-Nasā’ī and Ibn al-Sunnī with an authentic chain of transmission.) p. 94.
Weak. Ibn al-Sunnī narrated it in Amal al-Yawm wa-al-Layla (no. 27), saying: Abū Abd al-Rahmān—namely, al-Nasā’ī—informed us through his chain, from Abū Mijlaz, who said that Abū Mūsā (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he performed ablution. I heard him say: “O Allah, forgive my sins, make my home spacious, and bless my provision.” I said, “O Prophet of Allah, I heard you supplicating for such and such.” He replied, “What have they left out?”
Abū Yalā also narrated it by this same route in his Musnad (1/345).
I say: The narrators in this chain are trustworthy, but it is interrupted between Abū Mijlaz and Abū Mūsā
