Authentic. Ahmad narrated it (2/36) from Mujāhid, from Abd Allāh ibn Umar, who reported that the Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—said: “No man should prevent the women of his household from going to the mosques.” One of Abd Allāh ibn Umar’s sons said, “But we do prevent them.” Abd Allāh replied, “I relate to you from the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—and you say this?” He said: “Abd Allāh did not speak to him again until he died.” I say: Its chain is authentic. It is also found in Muslim (2/33), without the words: “He said: ‘Abd Allāh did not speak to him…’”
412—(It is stated in an authentic hadith: “The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays, and Allah—Mighty and Majestic—forgives every servant who does not associate anything with Him, except a man between whom and his brother there is rancor. He says: ‘Defer these two until they reconcile. Defer these two until they reconcile. Defer these two until they reconcile.’” Muslim.) p. 303.
Authentic. Muslim narrated it (8/11), as did Abū Dāwūd (4916), Mālik (2/908), and Ahmad (2/389, 400, 465), from the hadith of Abū Hurayrah, traced back to the Prophet.
413—(If a person has a legitimate grievance, it is enough for his brother to come to him apologizing. He must accept his apology and end the dispute. It is forbidden for him to turn him away and reject his apology. The Prophet—peace and blessings be upon him—warned that anyone who does so will not come to him at the Basin on the Day of Resurrection. Al-Tabarānī.) p. 303.
I say: I do not know it with this wording; it was evidently narrated according to its meaning. Al-Tabarānī narrated only an abridged version of it from the hadith of Jābir, traced back to the Prophet, with the wording: “Whoever receives an apology but does not accept it will not come to me at the Basin.”
Al-Haythamī said in al-Majmaʿ (8/81):
“Al-Tabarānī narrated it in al-Awsat. Its chain contains Alī ibn Qutaybah al-Rifāʿī, who is weak.”
