229 – (He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Whoever has two wives and favors one over the other will come on the Day of Resurrection dragging one side of his body, drooping or leaning.” Narrated by the compilers of the Sunan works, Ibn Hibbān, and al-Hākim.) p. 185
Authentic. It was narrated by Abū Dāwūd (2133), al-Nasā’ī (1572), al-Tirmidhī (1/213), Ibn Mājah (1969), as well as al-Dārimī (2/143), Ibn Hibbān (1307), al-Hākim (2/186), al-Tabarānī also in his Musnad (2454), and Ahmad (2/347, 471), from the hadith of Abū Hurayra. Al-Hākim, al-Dhahabī, and others graded it authentic. Al-Tirmidhī regarded it as singular, but this does not impair its authenticity, as I explained in al-Irwā’ (2017).
1/229 (See its documentation in al-Mustadrak, p. 290.)
230 – (For this reason, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would divide his time equally among them and act justly. He would say: “O Allah, this is my division concerning what I control, so do not hold me accountable for what You control and I do not.” Narrated by the compilers of the Sunan works.) p. 185
Weak. It was narrated by the compilers of the Sunan works and others from the hadith of Aisha. I have explained its defect in the previously cited source (2018).
231 – (Whenever he intended to travel, he would decide among them by drawing lots, and whichever one’s lot was drawn, he would travel with her. Agreed upon.) p. 186
Authentic. It is from the hadith of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, and it has several routes of transmission from her.
The first is narrated by Urwa from her. She said:
“Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, intended to travel, he would draw lots among his wives, and whichever one’s lot was drawn, he would take her with him.”
