Resurrection and Reckoning

11 – After their bodies have decayed, they will be raised up again; on the Day of Resurrection they will be driven together to their Lord. When they are presented before Him they will be called to account in the very presence of the Scales and the unfolding of the record scrolls—Allah has counted it all, while they had forgotten it—on a Day whose span is fifty thousand years. Were anyone other than Allah, Mighty and Majestic, to judge between His creatures it would be impossible; yet it is Allah Himself who will undertake the judgment among them, with absolute justice, in a period no longer than a midday siesta in this world. He is the swiftest of reckoners, just as He first apportioned for them—of wretchedness
