one must not ask, “Why?” or “How?”; rather, the requirement is to confirm them as true and to believe in them. Whoever does not know the explanation of a hadith, and whose intellect cannot reach its meaning, has been excused—his responsibility is complete. His duty is therefore to believe in it and to submit, just like the hadith of al-Ṣādiq al-Maṣdūq (the Truthful and Trusted Prophet).
