By Allah’s grace, its scribe—the owner of this manuscript—ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Hibat Allah ibn al-Miʿrāḍ al-Ḥarrānī—also listened to it, and that was in the closing days of Rabīʿ al-Awwal, in the year 529 AH. Praise be to Allah. The text was further heard, from my own recitation, by my son Abū Bakr ʿAbd Allah, his brother Badr al-Dīn Ḥasan, and their mother Bulbul bint ʿAbd Allah; part of it was also heard by ʿAbd al-Hādī. All of this was certified on Monday, the twenty-seventh of Jumādā al-Ūlā, in the year 97 AH.
