‘Abbas; it was likewise transmitted by al-Hakam ibn Iban from Ikrimah, from Ibn ‘Abbas, and by ‘Ali ibn Zayd from Yusuf ibn Mihran, from Ibn ‘Abbas. For us, the hadith is to be taken at face value, just as it has come from the Prophet ﷺ. To engage in speculative discussion about it is an innovation; rather, we affirm it exactly as it has reached us, according to its apparent sense, and we do not dispute over it with anyone.
