- (29) Chapter: Evidence That Qadam and Rijl Both Denote the Foot
29 - ʿAbd al-Rahmān ibn Muhammad al-Mahbūrī informed us: Ahmad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Nuʿaym narrated to us: Hātim narrated to us: Salamah narrated to us: ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us: Maʿmar informed us, from Hammām ibn Munabbih, from Abū Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—who narrated this hadith from the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, with the wording:
“until Allah, Mighty and Majestic, places His foot in it, and it says, ‘Enough! Enough!’”

٢٩ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَحْبُورِيُّ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُعَيْمٍ ثَنَا حَاتِمٌ ثَنَا سَلَمَةُ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ﵁ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ وَقَالَ فِيهِ حَتَّى يَضَعَ اللَّهُ ﷿ رِجْلَهُ فِيهَا فَتَقُولُ قَطْ قَطْ انْتَهَى
