• (12) Chapter: Evidence that He, Mighty and Majestic, is upon the Throne)

12 - Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Hākim, may Allah have mercy on him, narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Anmātī narrated to us, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Husayn al-Kisāʾī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Yahyā al-Madanī narrated to us, saying: Mālik narrated to us, from Abū al-Zinād, from al-Aʿraj, from Abū Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who related that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

“When Allah, Mighty and Majestic, completed creation, He wrote a record, which is with Him upon His Throne: ‘Indeed, My mercy has prevailed over My wrath.’”
