The Statement on the Quran

Its attributes, in pre-eternity, are neither originated nor created; whoever claims that they are created or produced, or suspends judgment, or harbors any doubt concerning them, is a disbeliever in Allah, exalted is He. The Quran is the speech of Allah: written in the codices, safeguarded within hearts, recited upon tongues, and revealed to the Prophet—may Allah have mercy on him. Our articulation of the Quran is created, our writing of it is created, and our recitation of it is created, whereas the Quran itself is uncreated.
