Intrinsic and Active Attributes

His intrinsic attributes are life, power, knowledge, speech, hearing, sight, and will, whereas his active attributes include creating, providing sustenance, bringing into existence, originating, fashioning, and every other attribute of action. He has always been—and will forever remain—endowed with His attributes and His Names; no attribute and no name has ever newly arisen for Him.
