the Throne of my Lord; it is as though I behold the people of Paradise visiting one another therein, and as though I can see the people of the Fire as they howl within it.”

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “You have spoken the truth, so remain steadfast—indeed, you have spoken the truth, so remain steadfast.” He then said, “Whoever would like to look at a man whose heart Allah has illumined, let him look at Ḥārithah.”

Ḥārithah then asked, “O Messenger of Allah, supplicate to Allah that He grant me martyrdom.” He prayed for this on his behalf, and Ḥārithah was duly martyred.
