The Messenger’s Sons and Daughters
Al-Qāsim, al-Ṭāhir, and Ibrāhīm were all sons of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while Fāṭimah, Ruqayyah, Zaynab, and Umm Kulthūm were his daughters.
If a person finds any of the finer points of the science of tawḥīd (pure monotheism) perplexing, he must, for the moment, hold in his heart whatever is correct in the sight of Allah Most High until he can locate a scholar and ask him. He is not allowed to postpone the search for an answer, nor is he excused for suspending judgment; persisting in such suspension leads to unbelief.
The account of the Miʿrāj (the Prophet’s Ascension) is true; whoever rejects it is an innovator who has gone astray.
