A mention of some of the doctrines of Ahl al-Sunnah:

Wiping over leather socks is a sunnah, and the night prayer of Tarawih throughout the month of Ramadan is likewise a sunnah. It is permissible to pray behind any imam, whether righteous or sinful. We do not hold that sins are harmless to the believer, nor do we say that he will never enter the Fire; yet neither do we say that he will remain in it forever.
