34 – Isma ibn al-Fadl narrated to me: Yahyā ibn Yahyā narrated to us, from Dāwūd ibn al-Mughīra, who said:

I heard Abū Hāzim say, “What is hidden has greater mastery over what is manifest than what is manifest has over what is hidden; and deeds have greater mastery over words than words have over deeds.”

35 – Al-Hasan ibn Yahyā narrated to us: Abd al-Razzāq narrated to us, from Mamar, who said:

A man wept beside al-Hasan, so he said, “One of them would weep beside his companion without his companion even realizing it.”
