97 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn Qurayb narrated to us, from his uncle, who said: Khalid al-Qasri once asked a man of Quraysh, “What keeps you from asking us?” He answered, “The very moment I pose the request I have already accepted its price.”
