5 – ʿAbd Allah ibn Muhammad narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad ibn Ḥassān al-Samti narrated to us ⦗21⦘; he said: Abū ʿUthmān ʿAbd Allah ibn Zayd al-Kalbī reported that al-Awzāʿī related from ʿAbda ibn Abī Lubāba, from Ibn ʿUmar, who said:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Allah, exalted is He, has chosen a group of people to endow with blessings for the benefit of His servants. He keeps those favors with them so long as they continue to share them; but if they withhold them, He takes the favors away and passes them on to others.”
