68 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying, “al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān … narrated to us, and he recited:

‘I shall assuredly thank you for the kindness you merely intended,
for the very intention to show benevolence is itself a kindness.

Nor shall I reproach you if Destiny should withhold its fulfillment,
for every affair is steered by the unalterable decree.’
