60 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Ibrāhīm al-Adami narrated to me; he said: Sulaymān b. Ibrāhīm narrated to us; Saʿīd b. Yazīd narrated to us; Yazīd al-Aʿraj narrated to us… from Bakr b. ʿAbd Allah al-Muzani, who said:

“It has reached me that al-maʿrūf (acts of kindness) and al-munkar (evil deeds) are two created beings who will appear on the Day of Resurrection. Al-maʿrūf will come to its people in the most splendid form, and they will ask, ‘Who are you?’ He will reply, ‘I am ⦗60⦘ al-maʿrūf ….’ Then al-munkar will come to its people, and they will ask, ‘Who are you?’ He will reply, ‘I am al-munkar, the one who…’”}​}
