52 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said, “Muḥammad ibn … related to me, from …, who said: Yahyā ibn Khālid remarked, ‘O Abū ʿAbd Allāh, we have tried people and found that an act of kindness is the purest … and that nothing … remains with a generous man.’”
