49 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad ibn al-Miqdam narrated to us; ʿUbayd ibn al-Qasim informed me; Hisham ibn ʿUrwah narrated to us, from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “A favor is truly fitting only for one of noble lineage or sound religious commitment, just as training benefits only a well-bred mount.”
