39 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; Suraij ibn Yunus told me; al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, from al-Awzaʿi, who heard Bilal ibn Saʿd say: “I found them racing back and forth between the archery targets, laughing with one another; yet when night fell, they became like monks.”
