26 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; Ahmad ibn … related to me; Yazīd ibn Hārūn informed us; Saʿīd reported from Qatādah, from al-Hasan, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Among the acts of charity is to greet people with salām while your face is cheerful.”

٢٦ - حدثنا عبد الله حدثني أحمد بن .. . يَزِيدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ [مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ] أَنْ تُسَلِّمَ عَلَى النَّاسِ وَأَنْتَ طليق الوجه.
