14 – Ahmad ibn Maniʿ narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Quddus ibn Bakr ibn Khunays narrated to us, on the authority of Talhah ibn ʿAmr, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who traced it back to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): “Every act of kindness that any one of you does for a wealthy person or a poor person is charity.”
