149 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn related to me; he said: ʿUbayd Allah ibn Muḥammad al-Taymī related to me. He said: It was commonly said, “Whoever does not thank his companion for a good intention has not truly thanked him for the good deed itself.”
