Chapter: On Showing Gratitude for a Favor
129 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; al-Ḥakam ibn Mūsā also related to me; he said: ʿĪsā ibn Yūnus reported, on the authority of Ibn Abī Laylā, from ʿAṭiyyah, from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever is not grateful to people is not grateful to Allah.”
