115 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to me; Abū Ibrāhīm al-Tarjumānī narrated to us; one of the Syrian elders narrated to me that ʿAbd Allah ibn Rawāḥa—or, according to another report, Ḥassān ibn Thābit—recited:

“We heard our Prophet utter these words—
a comfort for everyone pursuing a need:

‘Set out early and present your requests to those
whose faces Allah has adorned with radiant brightness.’”
