105 – ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; he said: al-Ḥasan ibn Isḥāq informed me; he said: Muḥammad ibn Bukayr narrated to me; he said: ʿAmr … … narrated to us. He said: al-Muʿallā ibn Asad and ʿAffān narrated to us; they said: ʿUmar ibn Masāwir narrated to us; he said: Abū Jamrah narrated to us from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said:

“Do not seek your need at night, nor ask it of a blind person. When you ask a man ⦗88⦘ for something, face him directly, for modesty is in the eyes. And whenever you have a need, pursue it early, for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘O Allah, bless my community in its early hours.’”
